"They had a similar issue when they won the AMD business," Kahn said. "And in the case with AMD and Sybase, they are both partners to Sun. For us it's a virtuous cycle -- the better their business is doing, the better people they are going to be able to recruit. The stronger they are, the better they're going to work on behalf of Sun because they are going to get top talent in the market. So we're actually fine with it. And by our contract, there are certain pieces of business they certainly cannot take on. But Sybase, AMD -- that's just all good."
