LONDON: Candy & Candy, a luxury interior design and development firm, is in the early stages of an RFP for an AOR in the US. The company, which opened an office on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles last year, was granted entitlement on its first project in the area, a mixed use 8-acre site, and is looking for an agency to help the company launch its brand in the US. The project, 9900 Wilshire, will include condominium residences, retail stores, restaurants, and bars.
Tania Fawcett, the head of marketing, PR, and events for Candy & Candy, told PRWeek that there is no set length for the RFP process, but that the company is looking to start work soon and plans to shortlist no more than three agencies. It is currently "calling in credentials from relevant agencies."
"We're more interested in finding the right agency for our brand and then we'll take it from there," Fawcett said. She declined to disclose the size of the account or specifics on the project, such as the length of the contract. "We want to talk to agencies that understand our brand and our target audience: the super-rich."
London-based Candy & Candy works with Neil Reading PR and has an 11-person marketing and PR team.
