Feud continues between NBC News and White House

The White House yesterday accused NBC News of "deceitful editing to further a media-manufactured storyline" about the President, concerning statements made likening foreign relations with Iran with Nazi appeasement.

The White House yesterday accused NBC News of “deceitful editing to further a media-manufactured storyline” about the President, concerning statements made likening foreign relations with Iran with Nazi appeasement.

Also, Bush's statements have been construed as a subtle attack on Senator Obama's lack of patriotism, alleging a desire to speak with the Iranian President.

White House counselor, Ed Gillespie addressed a letter to NBC News President Steve Capus voicing the above concerns, questioning the network's partisan leanings, and requesting that the President's complete answers be provided to the public.

NBC News is reportedly standing by the editing as “accurately reflecting the interview,” and has refused to add additional footage.
