Two Web sites to "save Bud" from foreign takeover recently appeared: SaveBudweiser.com and SaveAB.com.
On Save Budweiser, the site pleas for visitors to sign their petition to save the American brew, saying, " Let’s band together as one voice and try to save more than just our beer. We don’t want another American icon turned over to a foreign company; we want the motto to remain…The Great American Lager."
Even politicians are getting into the protest act.
