Carter named US Marshals’ PA chief

WASHINGTON: Jeff Carter is now chief of public affairs for the US Marshals Service. Carter previously was chief of media relations for the US Coast Guard (USCG), from which he recently retired as a commander following 26 years of military service. During his USCG tenure, Carter served as director of the federal Hurricane Katrina Joint Information Center in Louisiana, among other duties.
