Parnell leads GWU’s strategic PR master’s program

WASHINGTON: The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management named Larry Parnell the director of its master’s degree program in strategic PR. Parnell, also a partner at consulting firm Beacon Advisors, succeeds Don Bates, who served as interim academic director and will continue to teach at the school. Parnell’s past jobs include VP and group leader at Hill & Knowlton Canada, SVP of corporate relations at Barrick Gold, and director of global PR at Ernst & Young.
