A source close to the deal told PRWeek that Rogers & Cowan won the account after a competitive RFP process, but financial details and the length of the account were not known.
IMAX, headquartered in New York and Toronto, works with several PR firms, including New York-based Sloane & Co. for business and financial media. The company previously listed Los Angeles-based Newman & Co. as its entertainment media contact. Calls and emails to Newman were not returned.
