TracFone's SafeLink appoints Interlex AOR

NASHVILLE: TracFone Wireless launched a campaign to introduce its new SafeLink Wireless brand on August 15 in Tennessee. SafeLink is TracFone's distribution of Lifeline, a government-supported program to ensure telephone service for low-income households. Interlex, a San Antonio-based PR firm, was hired in June as general market and multicultural AOR for SafeLink to help with the campaign. The agency, which waited to announce the account win until an advertising campaign was in place, will handle advertising, PR, and partnership development for the US rollout of SafeLink.
