Sard assisting ousted Freddie Mac CEO

NEW YORK: George Sard, chairman and CEO of Sard Verbinnen, is acting as spokesperson for ousted Freddie Mac CEO Richard Syron. He's cited in a New York Times story discussing Syron's efforts to claim an exit package of at least $14.1 million. Senators, including Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, are urging that the severance packages for both Syron and Fannie Mae ex-CEO Daniel Mudd be cut or eliminated all together.
