NEW YORK: VisitDenmark, the official tourism organization of Denmark, selected M Booth & Associates to work on a campaign to raise awareness of Denmark's offerings among US travelers. It will encourage them to take long weekend vacations in its capital city, Copenhagen. The agency will center messaging for the campaign around Denmark's recent top ranking in a global happiness survey conducted by the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research. The agency believes this will resonate with Americans in need of a stress reduction during the tough economic times, according to Joan Brower, SVP at M Booth & Associates. It will also do media relations work directed mainly at online and short-lead publications.
