GAINESVILLE, FL: The Institute for Public Relations (IPR) will induct its first group of research fellows at the annual Distinguished Lecture and Awards dinner, taking place November 5 in New York. The IPR Research Fellow inductees are: Kathryn Collins, General Motors' director of communications research; David Michaelson, president of Echo Research; Louis C. Williams, chairman of L.C. Williams & Associates, a PR research firm; James E. Grunig, emeritus professor of communication, University of Maryland; Don W. Stacks, professor in the University of Miami School of Communication; and Donald Wright, PR professor at Boston University.
