TORONTO: CSRwire is targeting Canadian readers and organizations, with a corporate social responsibility news distribution network devoted to Canada.
At ca.csrwire.com, readers can sign up for customized news alerts, as well as a live news feed to a syndication network of Canadian-focused CSR and socially responsible investing sites.
“We've seen a significant increase in the number of interested journalists, analysts, investors, academics, and activists focused on Canadian business,” Greg Schneider, COO of CSRwire, told PRWeek. Schneider said since last week's launch, “hundreds” of people have so far signed up to receive Canadian CSR news.
He said that increase not only includes Canadians who have signed up to receive CSR-related news, but Canadian-based organizations that are distributing news through the CSRwire network.
“North America is catching up to other parts of the world when it comes to corporate social responsibility,” he said.
CSRWire Canada is the first of several internationally-focused sites set to debut; the second such site is expected to launch in the UK.
