Coke's Mattia joins GWU’s graduate PR program

WASHINGTON: Thomas Mattia, Coca-Cola’s SVP of worldwide public affairs and communications, will begin teaching at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management as an adjunct professor in the strategic PR program in early 2009. Mattia had previously announced his retirement from Coke. In addition, Ann Collier, former Circuit City VP of IR and corporate communications, joined the GW program as a section instructor. Collier is also president of Richmond, VA-based Collier Consulting.
