WellPoint VP to leave, start healthcare agency

Troughton, who began working at the health insurer three years ago, is opening VoxPop Public Relations, a healthcare agency based in Indianapolis. "The future of health insurance is going to be tumultuous," she said. She also said there is a need for boutique agencies during harder economic times and VoxPop will be able to provide services ranging from social media to crisis communications. Clients signed already include dLife, Tego, MDdatacor, and Alaven Pharmaceutical. WellPoint says it is conducting a national search to fill Troughton's position.
