Former MSNBC host Abrams launches consulting firm

NEW YORK: Former MSNBC general manager and host Dan Abrams opened global strategy firm Abrams Research on November 19 to "help companies make smarter decisions about marketing and communication," according to a statement.

NEW YORK: Former MSNBC general manager and host Dan Abrams opened global strategy firm Abrams Research on November 19 to "help companies make smarter decisions about marketing and communication," according to a statement. Abrams Research has established strategic partnerships with DKC and the Abernathy MacGregor Group, according to a statement. Abrams, who hosted Verdict with Dan Abrams on MSNBC until it was replaced by The Rachel Maddow Show in August, will continue to appear on the network as chief legal analyst. The new firm's board of advisers includes former NBC Universal Chairman Bob Wright; former Today Show host Bryant Gumbel; and Bonnie Fuller Media founder Bonnie Fuller.
