NEW YORK: The Center for Jewish History has named Steven Greene as its director of communications. In the newly created post, he will work alongside the organization's agency of record, Adam Friedman.
In his new role, Greene will oversee all internal and external PR, marketing, and advertising functions. He cited the opportunity to provide outreach and support to the Center's partner organizations - the American Jewish Historical Society, American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, and Yeshiva University Museum - as his intended primary focus.
"We need to move towards a more unified identity with other Jewish nonprofit organizations," explained Greene. "Developing this kind of awareness demands a clear marketing communications strategy."
Prior to accepting the job, Greene was CEO of his own PR agency, Sperling Greene Associates.
