NEW YORK: Euro RSCG Worldwide has aligned its 44 health-focused companies - which had combined billings of $1,640,766 in 2002 - under a single executive management team and financial-reporting structure.
The new network, which will be called Euro RSCG Life, consists of roughly 1,000 employees, and will offer public relations, advertising, medical education, and consulting services. CEO Ron Pantello, former CEO of Euro RSCG Healthview, and chairman Sander Flaum, formerly CEO of Robert A.
Becker Euro RSCG, will helm the newly formed network.
Each of the 44 agencies involved will maintain their own identities and brand names, though the Euro RSCG Life name will precede all entities' individual names. Euro RSCG Noonan Russo Presence will now be called Euro RSCG Life NRP, for example.
That agency's CEO, Tony Russo, will serve as CEO of public relations for the whole group, and will remain head of his agency.
He said that many companies wanting a "single global message that can be delivered across all forms of media" drove the consolidation. "This consistency will help prevent companies from duplicating costs," he added.
