NEW YORK: As a result of a senior staff shuffle, Nancy Seliger has assumed the role of general manager of Fleishman-Hillard's New York office.

Seliger, who has been with Fleishman since 1982, replaces Peter Verrengia, who also served as Northeast regional president. She will report to Verrengia as he continues to oversee the New York and Boston practices. Heidi Hovland, SVP and partner, assumes Seliger's former position as director of the New York marketing practice.

"Nancy's expanded role, the continuity of the senior team across the office, and Peter's continued responsibility for the region will ensure a smooth transition for our clients and our New York-based employees who serve them," said John Graham, Fleishman's chairman and CEO.
