PALO ALTO, CA: Robin Lutchansky has joined Global Fluency as its new MD, replacing Charlie Caudill, who left last month to start his own firm.
"PR is more of a global proposition now than it has ever been," said Lutchansky, who founded Lutchansky Communications. "Technology is global. It crosses borders. You have to treat any product as a worldwide launch. And you need partners around the world who are independent and can do it within their own countries, and are not dictated to by a mother office."
Prior to starting her own firm in 1996, Lutchansky worked for The Benjamin Group and Neale-May & Partners.
"I want to create a stronger network for companies to be able to communicate their messages worldwide," she said. "And I want to provide a forum for CMOs to gather and learn from each other, and to grow as a professional community."
Caudill, who was MD for a year, has launched Caudill Media Management, which works with executives to develop and analyze media strategies.
"We analyze companies' media infrastructure, and how they reach out and talk to media," said Caudill. "This is something I've always wanted to do."
