NEW YORK: Italian fashion house Moschino has appointed former Versace PR director Amy Raiter as its US PR chief.

Raiter, who handled PR for spin-off brands Versace Sport and Versace Young, joined Moschino in New York this month to take charge of a team of four. She reports to SVP of sales and promotions Michelle Stein.

Raiter is leaving Versace after a year. She previously worked at Christian Dior. At Moschino, her first campaign will involve the launch of its 20th-anniversary celebratory autumn shows.

"The campaign will begin in earnest in September, with the main focus being on the women's shows in October. November is when we'll pack the final punch," said Raiter.

Versace has yet to replace Raiter, but will use agency KCD to fill her role in the interim.
