SANTA CLARA, CA: 3Com's decision to relocate to the East Coast has left the company looking for a new VP of corporate branding and communications.
Jeanne Cox is one of three executives who decided not to stay with the company when it moves to Marlborough, MA this summer. 3Com develops networking technology, as well as internet protocol service platforms and access infrastructure.
"I've been with 3Com for three years, during some rewarding times and some challenging times," said Cox. "So I decided to take this opportunity to make a change."
While communications will be based in Marlborough, 3Com will still retain communications staff in Santa Clara, said Cox. The move won't affect 3Com's relationship with its PR agency, Coltrin & Associates.
Cox will stay with 3Com until the company finds her replacement. As VP of corporate branding and communications, she oversees corporate communications, issues management, product and tech PR, employee communications, and analyst relations.
