PORTLAND, OR: Investment banking firm The Noblemen Group has acquired The Bernhardt Agency, a virtual hi-tech agency.

"We were looking to establish a stronger suite of services so our clients would get the most out of working with us, and that includes communications," said David Ferran, CEO of the investment firm. "As most of our customers are either in high-performance computing or semiconductors, we felt the agency's experience and expertise in working with large and successful tech companies would bring a lot of value."

The Bernhardt Agency will now be known as Noblemen Communications. President and founder Mike Bernhardt said the acquisition would give him access to assets and business opportunities far greater than if he had stayed independent.

Bernhardt is now an EVP with Noblemen, and is president of Noblemen Communications.
