ARMONK, NY: Nearly two years after IBM consolidated its PR with Text 100, OneBlue, and Magnet Communications, it is renewing its contracts with those three agencies for another two years.

"Terms of the contract are expected to be broadly similar to those currently in place, which expire [September 30, 2003]," stated a press release from Next Fifteen, Text 100's parent company. "Final terms will be agreed to over the summer months, and it is anticipated that Text 100 will be appointed for a further two years, taking the contract to October 2005."

Rob Flaherty, senior partner at Ketchum and global leader of OneBlue, confirmed that IBM gave OneBlue a similar verbal confirmation. Omnicom created OneBlue to serve IBM, and is led by Ketchum and Brodeur executives, and includes other Omnicom agencies.

Paul Jensen, president of Magnet Communications, also confirmed that IBM gave his agency verbal confirmation.

Prior to IBM's PR consolidation in 2001, more than 50 agencies served the company around the world.
