NEW YORK: Three weeks removed from an MBO that separated London-based Financial Dynamics (FD) from its struggling parent firm Cordiant, the US-based operations of FD, which was formerly known as Morgen-Walke, began to round out its management team.
After naming former Ireland FD chief Declan Kelly president and CEO of Financial Dynamics North America two weeks ago, the firm has appointed Ian Bailey as an MD. Bailey will also serve on FD's board of directors.
Originally a member of the firm's London office, he will continue to head FD's US tech and telecoms practice. FD also appointed Claudine Cornelis and Evan Goetz as SVPs.
In a statement, the FD said that the appointments should "solidify Financial Dynamics' senior management team."
The firm has seen several senior-level changes since Morgen-Walke was acquired in early 2000, and almost no senior executives remain at the agency from before that buyout. At the time of Kelly's appointment, the agency announced that it was abandoning the Morgen-Walke name.
