DALLAS: Ruder Finn beat out two undisclosed competitors to win an AOR account from technology firm Alliance Data Systems.
"It's going to be a major client for us here out of the New York office," said Alicia Dollard, an SVP in Ruder Finn's technology group. The agency also serves another Texas-based client, NEC America, without an office in the state.
Ruder Finn will target trade publications in Alliance's core credit card, retail, and utility markets. Financial Dynamics (formerly FD Morgen-Walke) will continue to provide IR
support, said Shelley Whiddon, the company's external communications director.
The Dallas-based company provides outsourced transaction and credit-card processing, as well as marketing services. Parties to the contract wouldn't disclose its value, but it was rumored to be worth more than $350,000 a year.
