The two public affairs shops have been working together on an informal basis for a number of years. Executives with DSG said they decided to formalize the relationship because of the need for public affairs groups to have international capabilities.

MAM, founded in 1997, is a public affairs and media management group with offices located in London, Cardiff, Tunbridge Wells, and Brussels.

Both firms will continue to operate under their own names.
