3Com introduces its new corporate branding director

MARLBOROUGH, MA: Catherine Derr has joined 3Com as VP of corporate branding and communications. She replaces Jeanne Cox, who decided to leave 3Com after its May announcement that it was moving from Santa Clara, CA to the East Coast. Derr will report to president and CEO Bruce Claflin.
