Waterpik's newest dental system, the WP-360 oral irrigator, makes you forget all about those mysterious, big bins filled with water that used to sit atop your grandparent's bathroom counters. The WP-360 is cordless and rechargeable, and doesn't take up much more space than a electric toothbrush.
The water reservoir attaches to the back of the irrigator, so you can fill and empty it without dealing with different components. Having the amount of water contained to the size of the reservoir is also useful because you're not left guessing how long you should be cleaning for. The aftereffects are great, but the process itself can get messy, especially when using one of the deep-clean jet tips, because it's difficult to keep the water from spraying outside your mouth. But if you're willing to extend your home dental routine beyond flossing, brushing, and rinsing with mouthwash, taking a few extra seconds to wipe down the sink probably isn't going to bother you that much. The verdict: Excessive? Perhaps. Effective? Absolutely. Any questions? Write us at toybox@prweek.com
