WASHINGTON: Ogilvy PR has added Mindy Tucker Fletcher, one of the Bush administration's most coveted PR veterans, to its Sacramento staff.

Over the past four years, Tucker Fletcher, 33, has served as director of communications for the Justice Department, national spokeswoman for the Bush 2000 campaign, RNC communications director, and California advisor to the Bush 2004 campaign.

She joins as an SVP in Ogilvy's public affairs practice. "I will help expand the practice to start doing more state initiatives and political work," she said, adding that her West Coast presence was part of an effort to "bridge the gap" between Ogilvy's DC and Sacramento offices.

Also joining Ogilvy as an SVP in public affairs is Maggie Shandera Linden, formerly a senior advisor to Democratic state assembly speaker Herb Wesson Jr.
