Tenderich departs Siebel Systems for GM position at Bite

SAN FRANCISCO: Siebel Systems' VP of PR, Burghardt Tenderich, has left the enterprise software firm to join Bite Communications as GM of North America, a newly created position.

Tenderich will oversee the San Francisco office, as well as the two staff members in Washington, DC, who work on the VeriSign account.

Tenderich left Applied Communications in March to join Siebel. Last summer, Applied merged with Bite after UK-based Next Fifteen Communications, Bite's parent company, purchased Applied.

Tenderich will also focus on the agency's reputation, business development, and the possible expansion of the firm into other parts of North America.

To replace Tenderich, Siebel has hired Steve Diamond as senior director of PR. Diamond was formerly VP of corporate marketing at Inktomi.
