EL SEGUNDO, CA: Wendell Bugg has been named director of communications for Northrop Grumman's integrated systems business sector. He'll report to the president of the sector.
Bugg joined Northrop in December 2003 after having managed corporate affairs and communications for American Honda Motor. At Honda, Bugg worked on corporate reputation management, media relations, philanthropic and multicultural communications.
Prior to his stint at Honda, Bugg had worked as a legislative assistant to former Congressmen Louis Stokes and Joseph Kennedy in Washington, DC.
Northrop designs, develops, and produces integrated systems for government and civilian customers in the areas of intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, space access, battle management command and control, and integrated strike warfare.
