Ketchum to support Ad Council's energy-efficiency effort

NEW YORK: The Ad Council has hired Ketchum to handle public relations on an upcoming nationwide PSA campaign touting energy efficiency.

NEW YORK: The Ad Council has hired Ketchum to handle public relations on an upcoming nationwide PSA campaign touting energy efficiency.

Initially, the campaign will focus on 8- to 13-year-old children, and will eventually expand to include parents and caregivers. Ketchum's efforts will focus on the later groups.

"Ketchum will be charged with developing a public relations campaign aimed at parents and caregivers, who can help their children to be come more energy efficient," said Ad Council CEO Peggy Conlon in a release.

The account will be run out of Ketchum's Dallas office, and led by VP Mike Breslin.
