NEW YORK: Geduldig & Ferguson, an agency that's worked with clients like Oracle and JP Morgan, is merging with Fleishman-Hillard.
Agency principal Donald Ferguson plans to relocate from New York to San Francisco, where he will head Fleishman's West Coast corporate practice.
Alfred Geduldig is set to become a senior consultant at Fleishman and a member of its corporate advisory group in New York.
The third partner, Tricia Gibney, will become a VP in the New York office.
Fleishman decided on the deal because of the talent level of the smaller firm's principals, said Curt Kundred, the Western region president at Fleishman.
The New York agency will wind down operations starting March 15, and the merger should be complete by June 1, Kundred said.
Geduldig & Ferguson last appeared in the annual PRWeek agency rankings in 2002, when it stood at No. 214 with 2001 revenues of $1.43 million, down from $3.1 million in 2000.
