NEW YORK: Financial PR specialist Ellen Barry has left Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher to become a partner in the Brunswick Group's office in New York.
Barry said the partnership at Brunswick, a global offering and a collegial culture that meshes across its branch offices, appealed to her. She also said it was a great time to join Brunswick as the London-based corporate and financial PR firm is making great strides in the US.
Barry, who was at Joele Frank two years and was managing director, the most senior non-partner professional in the firm, said at Brunswick she would be doing both transaction and ongoing retainer work, such as IR, crisis, and strategic counsel.
Barry's work has included Revlon's restructuring of its debt and Walter Hewlett's opposition to the HP/Compaq merger.
