NEW YORK: Weber Shandwick appointed Eric Blinderman, most recently a partner at Fleishman-Hillard, as its EVP of consumer marketing.
Blinderman will handle the New York office's consumer marketing practice, which includes clients like Pfizer's Viagra, Dunkin' Donuts, Bank of America, Lycos, Unilever, and Arm & Hammer.
Blinderman was Fleishman's director of business development for its New York office.
He also served as chairman of its business-to-consumer marketing practice for the Americas.
Before working at Fleishman, Blinderman served as the assistant director of sports information at the US Military Academy at West Point, NY.
