Italian clothes firm hires Workhouse as first US agency

NEW YORK: Borrelli, a Naples, Italy-based clothing line and boutique, has hired Workhouse Publicity as its first PR agency in the US. The agency was first put in touch with Borrelli at the suggestion of a mutual contact at Vogue, said Adam Nelson, CEO of Workhouse, and Giuseppe de Corato, the CEO of Borrelli in the US.

Borrelli has stores in New York and Palm Beach, FL.

Workhouse is charged with developing a promotional strategy that will be consistent for both local and national initiatives, as Borrelli is planning a large expansion with the creation of similar stores over the next two years.

In the fall, Workhouse will promote a weekly cocktail event, called "Neapolitan Before Nine," in the New York store.
