Dhillon leaves job with H&K to head FD's public affairs

WASHINGTON: Financial Dynamics last week pried away longtime Hill & Knowlton DC public affairs head Neil Dhillon. Dhillon will recreate his role at FD. A former chief of staff to Rep. Bob Matsui (D-CA), he ran unsuccessfully for a US House seat in Maryland in 1994. He's been with H&K since 1998.

In an unrelated move, H&K hired Don Meyer back from the Department of Defense (DoD) as a VP in its corporate communications practice last week. Meyer followed former H&K MD Torie Clarke to the DoD in 2001, when she became assistant secretary for public affairs. Meyers served as special assistant for communications strategy.

No replacement has been named yet for Dhillon, but MD Gene Reineke expects one to be announced shortly.
