DENVER: DVCO Technology, an online communications technology firm, has acquired computer-based video editing systems and graphics firms VideoGraphic West in a move to bolster the firm's video and audio division, DVCO Media.
VideoGraphic West co-founder and president Michael Billingsley will remain at the helm of DVCO Media as a managing partner. DVCO Media will produce corporate video and programming with added services including video news release production, streaming video, animation, Web site and online media room encoding, and Web casts. As DVCO Media, the company will continue to distribute content to nearly 60 million homes.
VideoGraphic West also has completed more than 50 corporate training or product sales video projects for Pinnacle Systems, developed the Movie Making Magic DVD that is sold in Target and Wal-Mart stores throughout the country and developed video editing software that is distributed worldwide in five languages.
