Syracuse, NY: Eric Mower and Associates (EMA), an advertising, public relations and marketing firm, has acquired Charlotte-based PriceMcNabb, an integrated marketing communications agency for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition stemmed from EMA's strategy of expanding its reach southwards, according to Greg Loh, senior partner for public relations and public affairs, and a board member at EMA The company will continue to analyze potential acquisition targets, he said.

"For our firm, it's a significant opportunity to expand our opportunities in the south, and serve clients that have needs up and down the east coast," Loh said.
