MINNEAPOLIS: NKH&W, a Kansas City, MO-based integrated communications firm, is expanding into the Minneapolis PR market. The firm has hired Bob Rumpza as SVP of PR in its new Minneapolis office.
Rumpza had spent more than 17 years with the Minneapolis office of Weber Shandwick and the previous local firm that is now the core of that outpost, a major one for WS.
Rumpza headed the Minneapolis corporate relations practice there.
He has brought client Marvin Windows and Doors with him to his new firm. "We are scouting for more," he said.
Rumpza is only the fourth hire for NKH&W in its Minneapolis office. The outpost is headed up by Jim Bergeson, a former CEO at Colle & McVoy, a Minneapolis ad shop that has a major PR operation.
