NEW YORK: Michael O'Brien, associate director in Ketchum's global brand marketing practice and director of its New York brand practice, is leaving the firm on Friday to become a GM at Cohn & Wolfe in New York.
O'Brien, an SVP at Ketchum, headed the firm's account team for Eastman Kodak's digital and film imaging systems division.
C&W didn't return requests for comment on what O'Brien's duties would be at the firm, and O'Brien could not be reached for comment.
O'Brien was named associate director of Ketchum's global brand marketing practice early last year.
Kodak's digital and film imaging systems division includes disposable cameras, Kodak Picture Maker kiosks, the EasyShare line, the company's online service, Ofoto, and its Kodak professional digital cameras. Ketchum, which hasn't replaced O'Brien yet, has more than 30 staffers on the Kodak team.
C&W is a WPP agency. Its major clients include GSK, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer.
