Amy Wolfcale has been named VP of corporate communications at Dow Jones, succeeding Brigitte Trafford.
She will report to Peter R. Kann, chairman and CEO. In her new position, she will be responsible for communications in all of the Dow Jones business units, including The Wall Street Journal.
Wolfcale previously worked as director of communications at Money magazine, a division of Time Inc. During her tenure she helped initiate the Money Summit, an annual gathering of CEOs from the financial industry and financial regulators from Washington DC. In addition to her PR experience, she has also worked in public affairs at the Canadian Consulate General in New York.
"I'm anxious to get my feet wet," Wolfcale said of her new position. "I'm just really excited to join the team."
