CHICAGO: Tina Ruggiero, formerly a VP in Hill & Knowlton's marketing communications practice, has joined Burson-Marsteller as a director of its US brand marketing practice in Chicago.
Ruggiero will work on the National Cattlemen's Beef Association and Minute Maid accounts, among others. She'll report to Linda Recupero, chairwoman of Burson's brand marketing practice in New York.
Ruggiero had been running her own firm, Nutrition Dialogue, for about a year, but said she wanted to return to a large agency. "I really missed the corporate environment, working with teams, with agencies," she said. "The excitement is something I thrive on."
Ruggiero is a registered dietitian and has worked with such clients as Nestle and Mars.
