IRVING, TX: Sigma Medical has chosen its first AOR to launch a consumer education campaign.
Venice, CA-based Terpin Communications Group (TCG) will educate senior citizens on Sigma's product line, which includes a mail-order pharmacy, generic drugs for chronic diseases, and medical supplies.
Agency CEO Michael Terpin would not disclose the exact terms of the account, but said that it was in the "low six figures."
The agency is also assisting in the launch of Sigma's "99 cents a day" initiative, a program that gives diabetic consumers access to blood-sugar monitors, drugs, and educational materials.
"It's going to be very heavy on the consumer-health side," Terpin said about the campaign.
The effort involves mostly media relations, particularly with local Texas titles, as well as with medical trades, said Rita Tennyson, a VP at TCG.
