NEW YORK: Molly Meloy, a former advertising executive with Mobil Oil, has joined CFO Publishing as VP of marketing.
She will be in charge of all brand, advertising, and marketing initiatives for CFO magazine.
During her tenure at Mobil, Meloy managed all global media, something, she said, that helped her to appreciate the value of print media.
One of the primary marketing goals for the magazine, she said, is to promote the magazine's niche market. The magazine has a circulation of 450,000 copies, far more than typical trade magazines. "We're in our own space," she added. "I don't think we have the awareness."
In addition, the magazine's 25th anniversary will serve as a focal point of some of the marketing plan. Meloy said there will be several key events surrounding the CFO Rising conference, held in March in Florida.
