NEW YORK: Euro RSCG Life NRP is launching a new biotech division under the Noonan Russo name.
"We realized over the last three years that we'd built up tremendous equity in the Noonan Russo name," said Tony Russo, agency CEO. "No matter what we [called] ourselves, everyone's called us Noonan Russo."
Though the division will bear the names of its co-founders, Susan Noonan has taken a "less active role" in the firm over the past year, and now serves as a consultant, Russo noted.
The agency is currently recruiting a president to head the new division.
Russo noted that he wants the new president to focus on marketing the practice and its brand.
Parent company Euro RSCG Worldwide last year brought all healthcare PR, advertising, medical education, and consulting services under the Euro RSCG Life umbrella.
Although the PR division became Euro RSCG Life NRP, the agency kept the Noonan Russo name unofficially, including as its domain name.
