LOS ANGELES: Advertising and marketing agency La Agencia de Orci & Asociados has created a new VP of PR position, making it the latest in a series of Hispanic ad agencies to expand into PR.
Stephen Chavez, most recently with Valencia, Perez & Echeveste, has taken the new post and will oversee the company's Orci PR division.
Chavez has managed national Hispanic communications programs for clients including Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Target, and Kraft Foods.
"Stephen brings a unique blend of creativity and solid strategic thinking to Orci," said Dilys Tosteson Garcia, COO of La Agencia de Orci. "His background in corporate relations and consumer marketing, as well as his involvement in the LA community, makes him uniquely capable of executing Orci's proprietary 'Share of Heart' marketing methodology."
