Blimpie taps Weber Shandwick for rebranding campaign

ATLANTA: Sandwich franchise Blimpie will be working with Weber Shandwick on its 2005 branding campaign.

ATLANTA: Sandwich franchise Blimpie will be working with Weber Shandwick on its 2005 branding campaign.

Blimpie celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2004 and is set to embark upon a rebranding campaign in 2005. WS will work on media relations, internal communications, and community relations.

"We are launching an aggressive marketing campaign this year and the Atlanta office of Weber Shandwick Worldwide will provide integral public relations counsel during this crucial transition," said Mark Mears, Blimpie CMO in a release.

Blimpie has over 1,600 locations and has been in operation since 1964.
