ORLANDO, FL: Beginning next month, Create Communications will launch the Create Magazine syndicate, a network of trade magazines for the advertising and creative production industries.
The quarterly magazine, which is already published in Orlando and Miami, will expand to 18 additional markets, including Boston, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.
Jerry Brown, publisher and editor-in-chief of Create, said each of the separate editions will include some general articles about broad issues pertinent to creative professionals, but added that "the majority of the magazine will be custom to that market."
Local information in each issue will include a local feature, written by a local writer, as well as regional news, new hires, and new job accounts.
"Our mission is all positive news," Brown said. "We act as a marketing piece for that market."
Create will have a rate base of 100,000 copies and is available by subscription or at bookstores such as Barnes and Noble, B. Dalton, and Borders.
