SAN MATEO, CA: Biz 360 has entered into a strategic partnership with Nielsen/NetRatings to include information on global Internet reach metrics in its Market 360 product.
"This has been a huge need for our clients," said Deborah Eastman, CMO of Biz360, adding that some clients were involved in assessing the best option as far as an internet reach information provider.
Previously Biz360 used its own methodology to estimate the audience of a particular website.
The information gathered from Nielsen/NetRatings, which covers 70% of global internet usage, will be combined with Biz360's MediaSignal metric, which combines the prominence of the mention with the reach of the audience to provide a weighted reach number.
"It will give our clients an advantage in really assessing the impact of their online media content," Eastman said.
She added that the addition of information from Nielsen/Net Ratings allows Biz360 to provide a standardized metric and ROI analysis across all forms of media: print, broadcast, and online.
